‘Writing for Business’ course offered at Casper College to help you hone your writing skills

(Casper, Wyo.) – What’s the best way to write emails, letters, and other professional correspondence?

The answer can be found in the Casper College short course “Writing for Business” (CEU 0700 01).

Two sessions, each lasting only three hours, will be offered through the Workforce Training Center at Casper College: one on Wednesday, June 17 and the other on Wednesday, June 24. Both classes will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will be taught by Rachel Bouzis.

“No matter the business or industry, writing is always central to credibility, accuracy, and communication,” said Ann Dalton, workforce-training specialist. In addition to learning the etiquette of writing professional correspondence, participants will also learn about using and creating style guides and proofreading and editing techniques.

Those who successfully complete “Writing for Business” will receive .3 continuing education units. For more information or to register, contact Dalton at 268-2085 or atadalton@caspercollege.edu.
